Hello my name is Lucie…
I’m currently the Assistant Manager for the nursery here at Appletree. I’ve been at Appletree for 14 years and I’ve progressed from a zero hour contract to where I am today.
I love to be with the children and although a lot of my work is now office based I find any excuse to flit from one room to another, getting to know the children and parents.
I work with schools in order to prepare the preschool children for their transitions and I oversee the general running of the nursery. I am the Appletree Safeguarding Lead and SEND Co-ordinator.
I love working with the Appletree ladies, we have a fantastic mix of people that have a range of skills and we all work so well together to make sure that the nursery is a fabulous place for the children to learn and grow. I’m very proud to be an Appletree lady and I love my job.
